If I am not logged in, the settings button is still visible in the sidebar (on the playgroud). Since all the settings are tied to a user account, the button should be hidden.

From Kai: Maybe it'd be clearer to call Example Overrides, or at least explain in the help text that it'll override global variables.

I'd like warnings or errors, please.

e.g. braille is not a valid width .

If it's missing, give me a button to click to create it.
